It has given me confidence that I’m not alone in my challenges and there is a great support network out there.
I thoroughly enjoyed the conference and found the speakers to be very informative; a very diverse and good selection of speakers there. I took away a number of pointers that I can transfer to my own EA role.
The event was wonderfully organised and both the content and all the presenters, were excellent. Having only recently returned to the workforce last year as a PA after years of unemployment, I have been of the mind-set of being so grateful to being back in work (at my age) that I was quite content to try and keep my head down and quietly plan to stay in work for the next fourteen years until I reach my retirement age. Quite frankly, I was happy to be a PA with no thought of trying to strive up any kind of career ladder. However, both you and in particular David Clubb’s presentation about the future of the work, and in particular, how PA’s can future proof, or at least think about or put in place a strategy to meet the changes upon us or forthcoming, have inspired me to think differently. Please convey my thanks again to all your presenters. I am grateful for their time in coming to the conference and sharing their nuggets of wisdom.
I thought the conference was excellent and really well organised. The whole day had a great positive feel to it and the gifts between the sessions were a lovely idea (even though I didn’t win one!), as were the personalised hand-outs. It was inspirational hearing people’s individual stories, in particular Kath, Eleanor and Frances. I also really enjoyed the talk from Sir Simon Mayall who was delightful. Your chairman was great too – he should definitely be involved next year. The venue was also fab and I liked the free photo from the headshot guy – great idea.
The conference was more informal than I thought it would be, which immediately made me feel relaxed and happy to contribute.
Most importantly it was beneficial to the business because of what was learnt at the conference. I understand the importance of a PA far better than I did before and the impact I can have on my bosses and the business. I also have a better grasp on how I can help my bosses in their day to day activities by getting to know their priorities/strategies inside and out.
The conference surpassed my expectations. I enjoyed it so much and felt empowered at the end and with a new lease of life for my new role as PA!
Overall I found the conference inspirational, positive, informative, interesting and enjoyable. You appear to have the balance of being professional & practical alongside relaxed, open and fun. The unique style portrayed sense of humour along with a relaxed approached throughout, which really did hit the spot – certainly no “dull” moments at all and who on earth wants to attend anything dull!
Venue was in the middle of London so easy for everyone and it was a beautiful setting (so much better than hotels which can be rather faceless). The PAs who came were all very passionate about their role and keen to learn from you and from each other. The whole event felt relaxed.
The Conference really helped to boost my confidence and reintroduce me to the PA networking world. On top of that, I picked up some really useful information, so definitely a win-win!
I would just like to thank you and all your staff and contributors for a great conference again this year. Thoroughly enjoyable and informative!
I would just like to say thank you for such a fantastic event. This was my first PA conference and I took away some really valuable tips, tricks and contacts back to the office. The set-up, venue and speakers were a brilliant choice.
Appreciated so much opportunity to discuss and ask questions.
Appreciated the dynamic pace of the course.
Appreciated comprehensive handouts.
Thank you!
The speakers were very good, particularly those that gave hints and tips on everyday PA life. It was great to be inspired and hear from real people that have excelled as a PA and have gone the extra mile in their work.
I would like to thank you for the training/conference last week. It is honestly the best I have been to as a PA and I think it is invaluable that we have decent training accessible to us. The buzz of inspiration I felt on Thursday and Friday evening was incredible. I wanted to box up and keep it on my pocket to remind everyday of that feeling.
Firstly I feel rejuvenated as a PA + excited to get back to work on Monday feeling motivated.
Over exceeded my expectations. I loved the personal touch, especially in the folders provided.
